WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN THE ALPINE CONTENT CLUB
Quick Fire 5 Questions with Jen About The Alpine Content Club
Launching today to the public, the Alpine Content Club opens its doors for the first time. I thought you might like to understand a little more about why I’ve created it and how it can help you, so I asked one of my clients, Anita Gait, travel writer and competition-winning writer, to fire some quick questions at me.
Here’s the result!
1 - Why did you create The Alpine Content Club?
Over the last year, I’ve been getting direct enquiries from ski and alpine businesses that know they want or need to be more active on their social media channels. When I discussed more with them, the issues were often that they didn’t have the resource to commit to complete strategies or plans. Maybe there was a limited budget or not enough time or people in the team to make it happen.
The more and more conversations I had, the more I realised that these people needed a content bank. And sure, there are other content clubs out there, but to make it simple and easy to use, the content needed to be Alpine and Ski-themed.
2 - Why Now?
So, I actually had the idea in December last year – but as anyone in the hospitality industry knows, getting anything done then is a no-go! So I started researching exactly what people needed and started putting my plans into action.
Then it was also great timing that in May – the quiet interseason for me, there was an excellent membership course starting, run by the amazing Stu McLaren. So I jumped on the opportunity to learn more about structuring the membership.
It felt important to me to do this to ensure I was creating something valuable for my members.
Opening the doors now is great timing because it allows businesses to get things up and running throughout the summer and build confidence and momentum for the winter season.
3 - Does it Work?
So, of course, the content club is new. But the process and ideas are designed using my professional marketing experience and combined with my ski and alpine industry knowledge and passion. And yes, it does work. I mean, listen to this story:
And that was one sale! So joining the Alpine Content Club for €50 a month suddenly seems like a drop in the ocean compared to your potential returns.
4 - Is there Time to Put It Into Action
In a word, yes!
But to expand a little. Generally, content clubs save members between 10 – 15 hours a month because all the hard work is done for you. All you have to do is play around with the graphics and images – if you want to! – and then schedule the posts to pop out. All in line with the content plan that I’ve provided for you.
And I want to ensure members aren’t overwhelmed, so I also include clinics where we can work together and troubleshoot any issues or brainstorm ideas if you are stuck on anything.
So, if you save 15 hours a month, that’s 2 – 3 extra work days in your pocket to focus on other business areas – staffing, operational, sales and more. Or you could hit the mountain and go skiing!
5 What should people do if they are interested?
If you want to know more, head to the main Alpine Content Club Page, which should answer your questions. Or, of course, email me directly.
Depending on when you are reading this- the doors are open until midnight on Thursday, July 7th. After that, you can join the waitlist, following the link at the bottom of this page for when the doors open again.
Things to know:
- The numbers are limited because I want to get to know my members. To build and grow the club with them to create specific and valuable content solutions for them.
- The membership is 50€ p/m for this opening launch. I want to offer this lowest price to those who invest in themselves and trust me to help them with their social media planning.
- The doors are closing so that I can focus on the timeline of my members. If I were to keep the doors open, members would be at different stages in the journey. By only opening the doors at specific times, I can maintain the exclusivity of the membership and the quality of the information within it.
